Beautiful blue
Jan Fabre: Tivoli
As I always say...I just love this man.

The Tivoli mansion in Mechelen is one of the most striking examples of Fabre's investigation into the nature of the drawing. In 1990 he went to the Tivoli mansion in Mechelen and decided to cover it in ballpoint scribble. Huge silk paper cloths were covered in blue ballpoint lines and the mansion was then wrapped in them. A blue dream-mansion thereby made its appearance in Mechele.
